How to hallucinogens, Write a Summary, Analysis, and Response Essay Paper With Examples. VirginiaLynne has been a University English instructor for over 20 years. She specializes in helping people write essays faster and easier. A summary is telling the main ideas of the article in your own words. These are the steps to writing a great summary:

Read the article, one paragraph at fung, a time. For each paragraph, underline the main idea sentence (topic sentence). If you can't underline the definition, book, write that sentence on your computer or a piece of paper. Timeandmoneynow? When you finish the article, read all the underlined sentences. Definition? In your own words, write down one sentence that conveys the main idea.

Start the sentence using the name of the author and timeandmoneynow title of the article (see format below). Definition Hallucinogens? Continue writing your summary by writing the other underlined sentences in your own words. Remember that you need to change both the words of the sentence and timeandmoneynow the word order. Timeandmoneynow Nfl? Re-read your piece. Does it flow well? Are there too many details?

Not enough? Your summary should be as short and concise as possible. Author Tag : You need to start your summary by telling the hallucinogens, name of the asian american civil rights movement, article and the author. Here are three examples of how to do that (pay close attention to the punctuation): In “How the Civil War Began, historian John Jones explains.

John Jones, in his article “How the Civil War Began, says that the real reason. How the Civil War Began, by definition hallucinogens historian John Jones, describes. First Sentence: Along with including the article's title and author's name, the first sentence should be the main point of the article. It should answer the question: What is this essay about? (thesis). Example: In How the Civil War Began by asian civil John Jones, the author argues that the real reason for the start of the Civil War was not slavery, as many believe, but was instead the clash of cultures and greed for cash. Rest of Summary: The rest of definition hallucinogens, your essay is in the Setting examples, going to give the definition, reasons and evidence for that main statement.

In other words, what is the main point the writer is of george and the dragon, trying to make and what are the supporting ideas he or she uses to prove it? Does the author bring up any opposing ideas, and if so, what does he or she do to refute them? Here is a sample sort of sentence: ___________ is the issue addressed in “( article's title) ” by ( author's name) . The thesis of this essay is ___________ . How is this written? Who is the audience? Is it effectively written for that audience? If you've done a literary analysis, you can apply what you know about analyzing literature to analyzing other texts. You will want to consider what is effective and ineffective.

You will analyze what the author does that works and what doesn't work to support the author's point and persuade the audience to definition hallucinogens, agree. Sometimes, especially when you're just getting started writing, the task of fitting a huge topic into an essay may feel daunting and you may not know where to start. It may help you to use a thing called TRACE when talking about the rhetorical situation. TRACE stands for Text, Reader, Author, Context, and Exigence: Text , Reader , and Author are easy to understand. When writing the asian civil movement, analysis, you need to think about what kind of text it is and definition what the author wanted to have the fung, audience think, do, or believe. The main question your analysis will answer is, How effective was the author at definition hallucinogens, convincing that particular audience? Context means several things: how the of george, article fits into the history of discussion of definition hallucinogens, that issue, the historical moment in environment, time when the article is written, and the moment in time when a person reads the article. In this context, Exigence is synonymous with assumptions, bias, or worldview.

Breaking the large idea down into these five parts may help you get started and organize your ideas. In your paper, you'll probably want to address from three to all five of these elements. Each of the definition, following elements can be one paragraph of timeandmoneynow, your analysis. Definition? You can answer the questions to help you generate ideas for each paragraph. To make it easier, I've included the last two TRACE elements (Context and Exigence) as part of Author and Reader. How is the of george dragon, essay organized? What is definition hallucinogens, effective or ineffective about the organization of the heredity, essay? How does the definition, author try to interest the reader? How well does the author explain the main claims?

Are these arguments logical? Do the support and evidence seem adequate? Is the support convincing to the reader? Does the din tai, evidence actually prove the point the definition, author is trying to make? Who is the author? What does he or she know about this subject? What is the din tai fung, author's bias? Is the bias openly admitted? Does that make his or her argument more or less believable?

Does the author's knowledge and background make her or him reliable for this audience? How does the definition, author try to timeandmoneynow, relate to the audience and establish common ground? Is it effective? How does the author interest the audience? Does she or he make the definition, reader want to nfl, know more? Does the author explain enough about the hallucinogens, history of this argument? Is anything left out?

Who is the kubla, reader? How would they react to these arguments? How is this essay effective or ineffective for this audience? What constraints (prejudices or perspectives) would make this reader able to hear or not hear certain arguments? What is the hallucinogens, exigence (events in this moment in time which affect the need for this conversation) that makes the audience interested in this issue? See my Sample Reading Response to asian american rights movement, this essay and definition hallucinogens also check out Lisa Rayner and Don Fraizier's response. Text : Analyzing the text is very much like doing literary analysis, which many students have done before. Example: The organization of essay title is effective/ineffective because ___________ . The essay's opening causes the reader to ___________ . The essay's style is ___________ and hallucinogens the tone is heredity environment correlation, shown by ___________ . Hallucinogens? The language used is___________ . The essay's argument is constructed logically/illogically by ___________.

The essay is organized by ___________ ( give a very brief description of the structure of the essay, perhaps telling where the description of the problem is, where claims are made, and where support is located—in which paragraphs—and why this is effective or ineffective in proving the point ). Author: You’ve probably also analyzed how the author’s life affects his or her writing. You can do the same for timeandmoneynow, this sort of analysis. For example, in my sample reading the response about hallucinogens, Michael Crichton's Let's Stop Scaring Ourselves article, students noted that the fact that Crichton is the author of doomsday thrillers like Andromeda Strain and Jurassic Park makes his argument that we shouldn't pay much attention to current doomsday scenarios like global warming rather ironic. If you don't know anything about the timeandmoneynow nfl, author, you can always do a quick Google Search to hallucinogens, find out. Sample format: The author establishes his/her authority by ___________ . The author's bias is shown in ___________ . The author assumes an audience who ___________ . He/She establishes common ground with the audience by ___________ . Reader: You can write this section by inferring who the intended reader is, as well as looking at the text from the viewpoint of other sorts of readers. For example, Readers are interested in this issue because of the heredity, exigence of ___________. Constraints on the reader's reaction are ___________. I think the definition, reader would react to this argument by ___________.

I think that the author's ___________ is effective. ___________ is less effective because ___________ includes ___________. The support is adequate/inadequate and is relevant/irrelevant to the author’s claim. What do you think? Does this article persuade you? Generally, your response will be the end of your essay, but you may include your response throughout the paper as you select what to environment, summarize and analyze. Your response will also be evident to the reader by the tone that you use and the words you select to talk about the article and writer.

However, your response in the conclusion will be more direct and specific. It will use the information you have already provided in your summary and analysis to hallucinogens, explain how you feel about this article. Most of the time, your response will fall into kubla samuel taylor coleridge one of the following categories: You will agree with the author and back your agreement up with logic or personal experience. You will disagree with the author because of your experience or knowledge (although you may have sympathy with the author's position). You will agree with part of the author's points and hallucinogens disagree with others. You will agree or disagree with the author but feel that there is a more important or different point which needs to be discussed in addition to what is in the article. How will this article fit into your own paper? How will you be able to use it? Here are some questions you can answer to help you think about your response: What is your personal reaction to the essay?

What common ground do you have with the in the Clinical Essay, author? How are your experiences the definition hallucinogens, same or different from the heredity environment, author's and how has your experience influenced your view? What in the essay is new to you? Do you know of any information the article left out that is relevant to the topic? What in definition, this essay made you re-think your own view? What does this essay make you think about? What other writing, life experience, or information would help you think about this article?

What do you like or dislike about the essay and/or the asian american civil rights movement, ideas in the essay? How much of your response is related to your personal experience? Posted in THE ESSAY OF BEHAVIORISM THEORY OF LANGUAGE TEACHING AND LEARNING. DINA NOVITA WIJAYANTI. FIRST REGULER ROMBEL SEMARANG. THE ESSAY OF BEHAVIORISM THEORY OF LANGUAGE TEACHING AND LEARNING. As the students of definition English Education Department , it is important to us to know the kinds of approaches or theories related language teaching and learning. In this case, some approaches have constructed in teaching and and Learning in the examples learning process. All of the approaches are conducted in teaching learning process in order to definition, get the positive effect for the students and the teacher itself. The use of the approach itself is to improve or increase the students ability in learning. Although there are some theories that still used some conventional methods that make the students uninterested in asian american rights movement joining the teaching learning process.

So the role for the teacher is to apply appropriate approach based on the condition of the students in order it can make the students are interested to learn. In this case , I would like to discuss about behaviorism that is explained in definition hallucinogens detail through history of heredity correlation behaviorism , definition of behaviorism ,the characteristics of behaviorism, the principles of behaviorism , the strength and hallucinogens weaknesses of behaviorism, the application of behaviorism in heredity ELT, the differences of behaviorism with other theories. HISTORY OF BEHAVIORISM. According to Demirezen (1988:135) background of behaviorism growth is basically, behaviorist theory is definition, psychology theory that was founded by J.B Watson as a reaction to traditional grammar. This theory was supported by timeandmoneynow nfl, Leonard Bloomfield, O.N ,Mowrer, B.F Skinner and definition A.W Staats, Behaviorism grown in timeandmoneynow America as a new approach of definition psychology by making a particular emphasis on kubla taylor coleridge, the importance of verbal behavior. The major principle of behaviorist theory is the analysis of human behavior in observable stimulus-response interaction as the association between them . Thorndike was the first behaviorist who explored the learning area in order to form the association on particular process of definition hallucinogens behavior and the consequence itself. There were kinds of timeandmoneynow nfl behaviorism that the behaviorist theory of stimulus response learning was developed in definition hallucinogens operant conditioning from Skinner. The Story Of George And The. He assumed that all learning to be establishment of habits as a result of reinforcement and reward. On the other hand, the other behaviorist that was assumed by Pavlov that stimulus and response work together.

The example of behaviorism based on Pavlov was children developed to learn the language of their social surroundings naturally whose importance both over language learning and teaching must never be underestimated .In this respect of behaviorist was in definition hallucinogens fact that human and asian civil rights movement animal learning is process of habit formation. A highly complex learning task, according to this theory may be learned by being broken down into small habits. These are formed correct and incorrect response, are rewarded or punished ( Hubbard Jones and Thornton Wheeler, 1983;326 as cited in Demirezen (1988:135)). Thus, it is clear that the hallucinogens acquisition of learning in the story and the dragon infancy is governed the acquisition of other habits. THE DEFINITION OF BEHAVIORISM. According to Waltman (2003 ) Behaviorism is a theory of animal and human learning that only focuses on definition, objectively observable behaviors. While, (as retrieved in http://www.learningteaching.info/learning/behaviour.htm) behaviorism described as developmental theory that measures observable behaviors produced by a learner’s response to heredity environment, stimuli. From those definitions of behaviorism from hallucinogens, two experts , I can infer that behaviorism is a theory that measures observable behavior that are produced by the learner to respond to the stimuli. The response to stimuli can be reinforced with positive and timeandmoneynow nfl negative feedback to condition the desired behaviors. Reward is the positive feedback that is given to the learners because they can response to the stimuli correctly For example reward can be realized through stikers, treat , food and shopping, While punishment is the negative feedback that is given to the learners if they can’t response the stimuli well. For example for the punishment such as no play time, extra chores and taking away item.

There are some of the key consequences of definition behavior. The reward can strengthen the behaviors in american order the hallucinogens learners can increase the heredity behavior. For instance, giving praise to promote good behavior. While, punishment can decrease the behavior in order the learner don’t want to do it again . Hallucinogens. For instance, if the child get extra chores or no recess. THE CHARACTERISTICS OF BEHAVIORISM. According to Tomic , Behaviorism attempts to describe , explain and influence behavior. In this section, I would like to describe the features of nfl behaviorism. According to behaviorist, the most important causes of motivation for behaviorism lie outside rather than within the individual. The dualistic portrayal of mankind which distinguishes between mental processes and observable behavior is scientifically unproductive. For example” Mary loses control of herself because she is aggressive”. Hallucinogens. This sentence means something.

Mary is the din tai fung cause of their observable behavior. However, the only way to detect the inner characteristics serving to explain behavior in such pronouncements is to definition hallucinogens, observe this behavior. Timeandmoneynow Nfl. We see that the cause and effect have the hallucinogens same source. The scientific study of mankind should be restricted as much as possible to directly observable quantities. Explanations of human behavior are simple in principle, as behavior arose out the elementary learning processes, but in Teaching and Learning in the practice however , behavior is quite complex. Both the behavioral patterns of and the outside influences that effect human beings are complicated. Man is generally a shallow and imprecise observer of both his own and others’ behavior.

The dualistic portrayal of mankind forces him to definition, propose all sorts of dubious explanations. The attempt to din tai prices, influence behavior must be preceded by definition hallucinogens, a thorough behavioral analysis. If the attempt to influence behavior fails, then the analysis is correlation, incorrect or incomplete and hallucinogens must be revised. THE PRINCIPLES OF LEARNING OF BEHAVIORISM. The behaviorism is primarily associated with Pavlov (classical conditioning)in Russia and J.B Watson. While, B.F Skinner in United States(operant conditioning). The two types of possible conditioning that are classical and operant conditioning are explained as follows. Ivan Pavlov (1849-1936) Ivan Pavlov is brilliant Russian Behaviorist.

He studied about behaviorism (reflexes) for thirty years and was considered to be the father of Teaching in the examples conditioning theory. He concerned in the concept of classical conditioning behaviorism. Classical conditioning is the process of relax learning. Moreover, the condition tends to use the behavioral training naturally occurring stimulus is paired with a response. According to Waltman (2003)the example of classical conditioning is Pavlov found that providing food to a dog would set off a response by an elevated salivary flow.

He controlled the situation by hallucinogens, ringing a bell each time food was given to the dog. He discovered that he could make the saliva flows just by ringing the environment correlation bell, although food was not supplied. The bell , being the secondary stimulus, was so directly connected with the food or primary stimulus that the bell brought about the salivary flow or primary response. The relax was triggered by a new stimulus. He called this “ a conditioned reflex”(Rippa, 1996 as cited in hallucinogens Waltman(2003)). A learner behavior based on experience became known as “classical conditioning”. The principles of classical conditioning (as cited in Cherry) Acquisition is the initial stage of learning when a response is to be strengthened.

Extinction is when the occurrences of a conditioned response decrease or disappear Spontaneous Recovery is the american civil movement reappearance of the conditioned response after a rest period Stimulus Generalization is the tendency for the conditioned stimulus to appear similar responses after the response has been conditioned. Discrimination is the ability to differentiate between a conditioned stimulus and other stimuli that have not been paired with an unconditioned stimulus. John B Watson(1878-1958) John B. Watson is the important contributor to definition, classical behaviorism . He studied the behavior of animals. Watson’s approach was influenced by Ivan Pavlov who concerned in Classical conditioning. Classical conditioning is the process of reflex learning. Watson’s approach emphasized in the role of stimuli in producing conditioned responses. Asian Movement. For this reason, Watson may describe it as an S-R(Stimulus-Response) called ”reflexes”. He believed that one’s surrounding and background are much more dominant than genetics in the determination of human behavior. He thought that one’s surroundings were the main stimulus that established behavior. He considered that if he could be in definition hallucinogens charge of a child’s surroundings, he could shape the child into any type of person he sought.

In his research similar to Pavlov’s experiment with a dog’s digestive. Of George And The Dragon. Watson trained a child to hallucinogens, fear a rat. When the child came in contact with the rat aloud noise was made and the child was startled. This led to the eventual fear of furry animals. Watson believed that if he could make a child fear a rat, then he could create any situation and asian american rights movement response that he desired( Waltman, 2003). B.F Skinner is American behaviorist whom develop a system based on operant conditioning. Operant conditioning is the idea that we behave the way we do because this kind of behavior has had certain consequences in the past. In operant conditioning there is reinforcement of the behavior by giving reward or punishment. Positive reinforcement shows by giving reward to increase the response.

Negative reinforcement shows by giving punishment to decrease response. The greatest contribution of B.F Skinner was known his studies of how rewards and punishment influence behavior(Fisher,202 as cited in Waltman :2003). He taught that reinforcement follows behavior. Definition Hallucinogens. Human behavior is developed by previous situations and reinforcements. Behavior enlarges in areas that are positively reinforced, therefore, we should be controlling, creating events that reinforce desired behavior. Skinner used a tool which was known the ”Skinner box”. This box was used to heredity environment, observe behavior in tested situations and for operant conditioning experiment. For example Operant conditioning( as cited in Strandrige ) is the mouse pushes the lever and receives a food reward. Therefore, he will push the lever repeatedly in order to get the treat.

It means that the mouse can response to the stimuli well so, the mouse can get reward in definition hallucinogens the form of treat .Through his experiment he concluded that behavior could be changed by providing reinforcement based upon the response. The principles of operant conditioning (as cited in Demirezeen(1988:137)) Behaviorist theory dwells on spoken languagea learning language is fung prices, primarily what is spoken and secondarily what is written. Behaviorist theory is the habit formation theory of language teaching and learning, reminding us the hallucinogens learning of structural grammara Language learning concerns us by “not problem-solving but the information and performance of habits” The stimulus-response chain, S-Responsea emphasizes conditioning and timeandmoneynow nfl building from the hallucinogens simplest conditioned responses to more and more complex behaviors. All learning is the establishment of habits as the result of reinforcement and rewarda positive reinforcement is reward, negative reinforcement is civil, punishment. The learning, due to its socially-conditioned nature, can be the same for each individual a each person can learn equally if the condition in which the definition hallucinogens learning takes are the same for each person. CLASSICAL VS OPERANT CONDITIONING based on (Cherry,2008) First described by Ivan Pavlov, a Russian psychologist Involves placing a neutral signal before a reflex Focuses on involuntary response and stimulus. First described by B.F Skinner, an American psychologist Involves applying reinforcement or punishment after a behavior Focuses on a voluntary behavior and heredity correlation consequence. THE STRENGTH AND WEAKNESS OF BEHAVIORISM.

The next section that will be discussed is the strength and weakness of behaviorism(As cited in Mergel:1998) The strength of behaviorism is focused on a clear goal and definition can respond automatically to the cues of that goal. On the other hand , the weakness of it is the learners may find themselves in a situation where the stimulus for american rights movement the correct response does not occur, so the learner cannot respond. A worker who has been conditioned to definition, respond to a certain cue at work stops production when an anomaly occurs because they do not understand the system. APPLICATION OF BEHAVIORISM FOR ELT. Behaviorism offers a particular perspective on how learning occurs and how teaching impacts that process. According to Beavers, Eaglin, Green, Nathan and Wolfe (2002)) Learning is a persisting change in performance or performance potential that results from experience and interaction with the world. The importance of measurable and khan samuel observable performance and the impact of the environment comprise foundational principles of the behaviorist approach to learning.

Some things to definition hallucinogens, remember when incorporating behaviorist principles into your teaching: • Write observable and measurable behavioral learning outcomes. • Specify the desired performances in advance (the learning outcomes serve this purpose) and verify learning with appropriate assessments. • Emphasize performance, and practice in an authentic context. • Use instructional strategies to shape desired skills. • Reinforce accomplishments with appropriate feedback. Behaviorism can be applied through the teaching method such as Audiolingual method, TPR,Silent way.

A.APPLYING CLASSICAL CONDITIONING IN THE CLASSROOM. The teacher can apply the principles of heredity behaviorism in the classroom that can be applied through classical and operant conditioning. The key elements in definition classical conditioning (as cited in kubla journal from asiaeuniversity). A teacher uses attractive learning aids Decorate the classrooms Encourage students to definition hallucinogens, work in small group for difficult learning tasks Greet the students and smile at them when he comes to the classroom Inform the students clearly and specifically the format of quizzes , tests, and examination Make the students understand the heredity rules of the classroom Give time for students to prepare for definition hallucinogens and complete the learning tasks. B.APPLYING OPERANT CONDITIONING IN THE CLASSROOM.

In operant conditioning , the consequences of behavior place changes in the probability that the and Learning in the Clinical Essay examples behavior will occur. Reinforcement and punishment are two main concepts in operant conditioning. The following are some examples on hallucinogens, how operant conditioning can be applied in the classroom (as cited in journal from asiaeuniversity) Recognize and reinforce positive behaviors and genuine task accomplishment Use various types of reinforcement such as teacher approval (praise, smile, attention and pats on the shoulder)concrete reinforcement(cookies, candies and in the Setting Essay stationery) and privileges(longer recess time and more time with friends) Reinforce good behaviors and punish bad ones consistently Use schedule of reinforcement, such as surprise rewards, to encourage persistence Use positive punishment as the last option. Use negative punishment such as detention class ,instead. Punish students’ behavior , not their personal qualities. Tell the students which behavior is being punished. THE DIFFERENCES OF BEHAVIORISM WITH OTHER THEORIES. In this case, I would like to discuss the differences of behaviorism compare with other theories based on two experts. The first is the differences between behaviorism and constructivism theory based on Alzaghoul. The description is as follows:

Students tend to be passive The teacher is active in teaching learning process than the hallucinogens students since the teacher presents and provides for practice and feedback. The material is prepared by the teacher. Students tend to be active The teacher is passive because the din tai prices students do their personal discovery knowledge The students understand the information or material constructed by themselves. The second is the differences of definition behaviorism theory compare with cognitivism and constructivism theories based on Orey (2008). The Differences of cognitivism ,behaviorism, and constructivism (as cited in Orey:2008) It stresses on acquisition of knowledge and internal mental structure. The role of teacher in cognitivism is to.

1)Understand that individuals bring various learning experiences to the learning situation which can impact experiences to the learning situation which can impact learning outcomes, (2) Determine the timeandmoneynow most effective manner in which to organize and structure new information to tap the definition learners’ previously acquired knowledge, abilities, and experiences, and. (3) Arrange practice with feedback so that the new information is effectively and efficiently assimilated within the learner’s cognitive structure. It stresses on a new behavioral pattern being repeated until it becomes automatic including the use of american civil instructional cues, practice and reinforcement. The role of teacher in behaviorism theory is to. (1) Determine which cues can elicit the desired responses, (2) Arrange practice situations in which prompts are paired with the target stimuli that initially have no eliciting power but which will be expected to elicit the responses in the natural setting, (3) Arrange environmental conditions. It stresses based on construction of our own perspective of the world, through individual experiences and hallucinogens schema. The role of teacher is. (1) To instruct learners on how to construct meaning. (2) To align and design experiences for the learner so that authentic relevant contexts can be experienced. Instructions in constructivism have some characteristics: (a) An emphasis on the identification of the context in which the skills will be learned and subsequently applied,, (b) An emphasis on learner control and the capability of the learner to manipulate information, (c) The need for information to be presented in a variety of different ways, (d) porting the use of problem solving skills that allow learners to go “beyond the information given” (e) Assessment focused on transfer of environment knowledge and definition hallucinogens skills.

Based on the explanation above related to behaviorism , I can infer that the implementation of that theory itself is like the conventional method where the heredity environment students tend to be passive in teaching and learning process while the center of the learning is the teacher since the teacher presents and provides for practice and feedback. The students tend to get reinforcement from the teacher in order the students can do what the teacher’s intend . If the students can response to the teacher’s stimuli correctly , they can get reward such as stikers, treat , food and shopping, While punishment is the negative feedback that is hallucinogens, given to nfl, the learners if they can’t response the stimuli well. For example for the punishment such as no play time, extra chores and taking away item. Behaviorism overall helps the teacher with her class in many ways. It helps her to have smooth classroom management skills, keep her children to work hard to achieve their highest potential. Through behaviorist theory ,the students learn how to behave in correct way. Alzaghoul, Ahmad Fawaz.
